Racing is one of the most demanding environments in engineering, and one of the fastest ways to improve. Extreme speed, heat, vibration and load make it the most credible proving ground there is. What survives here can be trusted anywhere.
It also moves at a relentless pace. A change can go from idea to prototype to track in a matter of days, compressing years of development into a season. That is why motorsports in general is leading the way forward also when it comes to sustainability. It is a testbed for new biomaterials, sustainable fuels, carbon capture, hybrid electric powertrains, hydrogen engines, fuel cells and much more. And none of it stays on the circuit. What we learn moves into the bearings, wheel ends and driveline systems we build for the road.
From Formula 1 and open-wheel championships to endurance, rally, two-wheelers, and high performance cars. We support the full breadth of motorsport and the engineering students shaping what’s next.
The vehicles differ widely. But the engineering focus is the same: low friction, low weight and precise response. When there is no room for error, reliability is everything.

Our partners are among the most demanding names in motorsport. They are also the proof of our engineering expertise, because the work we do together is real, not ceremonial. We are a vital part of the performance, not a sticker on the car. Rarely seen, but absolutely essential and forever pushing the boundaries to improve the status quo.
We partner with PWR to help shape the future of electric motorsport.
Competition partner in one of the highest load environments in motorsport.
Engineering support and tailored solutions at the front of MotoGP.
Co engineering at the hypercar limit, where craftsmanship meets performance.
What racing teaches, reaches the road
Racing and sustainability. A contradiction? Actually, it isn’t. The real value of racing is what the work leaves behind. A solution proven in racing will eventually move into regular cars, trucks and motorbikes. Here the two pursuits meet: what makes a race car faster is often what makes every vehicle cleaner. Less friction. Less weight. Less energy wasted.
Take the wood-based SiC plain bearing. Starting from sawdust, our engineers developed a silicon carbide bearing material by a bio-based route. Lighter, highly wear resistant, with minimal frictional losses, and a fraction of the carbon footprint of conventional production. Racing-level performance and lower impact, from a renewable starting point.
That is how knowledge moves. From the track to the road. Resulting in a lower carbon footprint.
